Nick Swisher was 2-for-4 with four points smashed, while CC Sabathia threw eight innings score below, leads Yankees to a 13-2 victory and a sweep two-game series against the Orioles.
Mark Teixeira hit two-run Homer and finished three RBI in the third consecutive victory in New York. The Yankees pounded 14 hits, eight of which went to extra bases, including RBI triple by Derek Jeter, Curtis Granderson, and Brett Gardner.
It was more than enough support for Sabathia (4-3) limited Baltimore to seven hits and nine withdrew. It was a good rebound starting point for the left-hander who gave up six points in Boston on Saturday.
