MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER (MLS) PHILADELPHIA UNION VS SPORTING KANSAS CITY

Major League Soccer (MLS) is a professional football league based in the United States and the sanctions of the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer). Championship includes 16 teams, 15 in the U.S. and one in Canada, and is intended to include 18 teams in the 2011 season and 19 teams in 2012. MLS represents the highest level of both the American and Canadian football pyramid.

Philadelphia Union faces a quick time response and cross-country trip, when they return to Sporting PPL Park in Kansas City on Wednesday night. Union have seen their tube ends undefeated during the weekend 1-0 loss to Vancouver. Sporting face a shorter trip in Philadelphia after being away from their first victory of their new stadium by defeating the San Jose Earthquakes last Friday.

Sporting Kansas City won for the first time in their new home and one game on the trot, a 1-0 win Friday against San Jose Earthquakes at Livestrong Sports Park.
